Product Introduction:
Gate valves are widely used for all types of applications and are suitable for both above-ground and underground installation. Not least for underground installations it is paramount to choose the right type of valve to avoid high replacement costs.
A resilient seated gate valve has a plain valve bottom allowing free passage for sand and pebbles in the valve. If impurities pass as the valve closes, the rubber surface will close around the impurities while the valve is closed. A high-quality rubber compound absorbs the impurities as the valve closes, and the impurities will be flushed away when the valve is opened again. The rubber surface will regain its original shape securing a drop-tight sealing.
The gate valve opening and closing part is the disc, the movement direction of the disc is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, two gate sealing surface formed two wedge.
Product features and advantages:
1.Small flow resistance. The internal medium channel of valve body is straight, the medium flows in a straight line, makes the flow resistance small.
2.It is labor-saving to open and close the valve (compared with glove valve). Because no matter to open or to close, the movement direction of the disc is perpendicular to the fluid direction.
3.The valve height is long, makes the opening and closing time long. The opening and closing trip for disc is long, the disc up and down is controlled by screw stem.
4.Few water hammer situation occurs. The reason is closing valve time for is long.
5.The medium can flow on both sides to any direction, so it is easy to install. The valve both two sides is symmetric.
